Greece Little League Inc. is a 501(c)(3)non-for-profit youth organization run by Volunteers started in 1954. We are chartered with Little League Baseball Inc. the world wide Little League program whose headquarters is in Williamsport, PA following their Little League rules, regulations, and reporting to them. Our charter has it's own protected boundary that we must abide by which is the Town of Greece, Village of Charlotte and Village of Hilton. Greece Little League Inc. has had an approved Little League Baseball Inc. ASAP safety program since the ASAP program's inception in 1994. Our books are audited annually by an independent accountant. We offer to our players the opportunity to tryout for our Little Leagues Baseball/Softball Tournaments that go as high as State or World Wide level depending on the age of the player along with local tournaments that stop here in Monroe County. Thursday, July 2 ALL GREECE LL games/practices in Greece are Cancelled Due to the cancellation of the Red Wing game 6/20 we are going to do another GLL night at Frontier Field on Saturday, August 1st you can exchange the tickets you purchased from us at the concession stand or attend another Red Wing game of your choice during the season. Team contacts can collect the tickets and turn them in all at once so that the team sits together as originally planned
YOUR SUPPORT IS NEEDED construction letter Help make this restroom/concession stand building design a reality with your donations (for the safety of our youth - PARENTS kindly keep children away from the construction area-your cooperation would be greatly appreciated Fall Ball applications now being accepted at the concession stand Registration form on a first come first serve basis FALL BALL REGISTRATION – Get ‘em ready for 2010 REGISTER NO LATER THAN July 13th. Drafts will be held Tuesday July 14th. For the past 5+ years Greece Little League has had a second season “fall ball” program. This Training and Development program is recommended for players to play, have more fun playing baseball and by playing in the division they want to play for in 2010… it allows them the opportunity to get ready. This years 12, 13, 14 year olds should play fall ball in Juniors. 100% player pitched This years 9, 10, 11 year olds should play fall ball in * Majors. 100% player pitched This years 7, 8 and a few 9 year olds should play fall ball in AA. 50/50 player/coach pitch * Even if a player plays fall ball in Majors, the player will still need to tryout for Majors, AAA or AA for their proper placement in 2010. Your $70 or $90 get each player: Socks, Hat, Jersey and at least 10+ games. The season runs from approximately August 6th to October 6th. We typically have successfully played mostly home games with occasional travel to Gates to play their teams. You shall deliver your registration and check to the concession stand by July 13th.
