BASEBALL DIVISIONS
General Rules
Registration Information:
For youth ages 4-18 yrs of age as of April 30 (playing season) for baseball who reside in the Town of
Greece, Village of Charlotte, Village of Hilton. ALL teams are
assigned to work the concession stand at a non-playing team time so parents
don't miss their child's game.
Evaluations of
players for regular season does not mean they are cut from the program only
placed where they are better suited. The only time there are cuts in the
program is at tournament time.
All rostered players bat in a continuous batting order and play
at least half the game the only exceptions are a shortened game or
discipline reason.
July August T-Ball Baseball
Instructional program for youth age 4 & 5 years of age.
- They will all be hitting off
of a tee using what is called an "incrediball" which is the hardness of a tennis
ball.
- Two games a week are scheduled minimum 12 games- subject to weather
and field conditions.
- You must provide your child with his/her
own glove, long pants and sneakers are recommended along with
transportation to and from all games.
- This July/August season which starts
after the 4th of July and is played on Monday and Thursday nights.
- All games are played at our Greece Little
League Complex starting at 6 pm and done by 7:30 pm
- Includes hat & shirt (not to be altered) to keep at end of season.
Trophy at end of season.
T-Ball Baseball
Instructional program for youth ages 4 & 5 years of age.
- They will all be hitting off

- Two games a week are scheduled minimum 12 games- subject to weather
and field conditions.
- You must provide your child with his/her
own glove, long pants and sneakers are recommended along with
transportation to and from all games.
- You can choose either the May/June season whose practice starts in April and/or the
July/August season which starts after the 4th of July. You can also choose until the
division is full which nights you would prefer to play for the May/June only- Mon/Wed/if necessary, Fri OR
Tues/Thurs/if necessary, Sat; July/August is played on Mon/Thurs nights.
- All games are played at our Greece Little League
Complex starting at 6:30 pm and done by 8 pm.
- Includes hat & shirt (not to be altered) to keep at end of season.

Rookie Baseball
program for youth ages 6 & 7.
- You must provide your child with an
athletic support, glove,
long pants and sneakers are recommended along with transportation to and
from all games.
- They will start out with a coach-pitch
program - ending with players starting to learn to pitch.
- Four outfielders using a continuous batting order with a 10 player
defense.
- Practice starts in April with actual games
starting in May and running to mid-July with a minimum 12 games schedule
- Two games a week are scheduled - one on a
Tuesday OR Thursday evening and every Saturday.
- Games are played on Town, School and the Greece Little League Complex
fields.
- Includes hat & shirt (not to be altered) to keep at end of season.
Trophy at end of season.
NOTE: All players Little League age 9 as
of April 30th will be eligible to tryout in mid-June for tournament teams
based on age

- Junior Tournament: For ages 12,13 & 14,

- Little League Tournament: For ages 11 & 12 only,
district, sectional, State, Eastern Regional and final stop in
Williamsport LL World Series
- 10/11 Year Old Division Tournament: district,
sectional and State level tournament
- 9/10 Year Old Division Tournament: district,
sectional and State level tournament
- Local Tournament teams for all above (do not
travel outside of Monroe Cty & play while above tournaments are in
progress)
AA
Baseball program for youth
7, 8 & 9 years of age

You must provide your child with an athletic support, glove and gray (or team choice)
baseball pants and transportation to and from all games.
- Continued pitching develop - working into an all youth pitching program.
- Open draft within charter boundaries

They begin outside practice in April (weather permitting) with the playing
season starting in May and running to the end of June. (minimum 12 games)
- Two games a week are scheduled - one on a
Tuesday OR Thursday evening and every Saturday
- Includes hat, shirt (not to be altered) and trophy
- Tournament players ARE allowed to participate during tournament play
in another baseball program
Minor Fall Ball Baseball Training program
for youth ages 7, 8, 9, 10
- Games to be played on
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for the month of August
- Saturday games only
for September/October
- Coaches act as
umpires
- Same rules as regular
season but there will be no walks, once pitcher reaches 3 ball count on
batter, coach steps in to pitch. No exceptions
- 8 Games - 3/4
inning game with the first 1/2 hour devoted to infield/ outfield practice
etc.. Coaches can split time to teach players before game
- You must provide your child with his/her
own glove along with a pair of gray (or team choice) baseball pants and
transportation to and from all games.
- The players do their own pitching and work on
fundamentals
- Hats ONLY
AAA
Baseball program
for youth 8, 9 & 10 years of age

You must provide your child with an athletic support, glove and gray (or team choice)
baseball pants and transportation to and from all games.
- Four outfielders for developmental purposes whereas the players are
the pitchers for the entire season.
- Open draft within charter boundaries

They begin outside practice in April (weather permitting) with the playing
season starting in May and running to the end of June. (minimum 12 games)
- Two games a week are scheduled - one on a Monday
OR Wednesday and/or Friday evening
- Includes hat, shirt (not to be altered) and trophy
- Tournament players ARE allowed to participate during tournament play
in another baseball program
Majors
Baseball For youth ages
9, 10, 11 &12.
- Players who wish to play a little more competitive brand of
baseball. A select number of players will be chosen for this division. For
those players that are ages 9 and 10
that do not make the tryout teams, the above options would apply.

baseball pants and transportation to and from all games.

There are standings in this level of play using three outfielders.
- Open draft within our charter boundaries

They begin outside practice in April (weather permitting) with the playing
season starting in May and running to the end of June.

They play two games a week using Monday/Wednesday/or Friday evening
minimum 12 game schedule.
- On a Saturday in June or July the team is assigned to a Challenger
game to assist our physically and mentally challenged players (details
below)
- Tournament players ARE allowed to participate during tournament play
in another baseball program
- Includes hat, shirt (not to be altered) and trophy
Majors
Fall Ball Training
program for youth 9, 10,11 moving
up from AAA regular season
- Games played on
Monday, Wednesday and Friday in August
- Saturday games in
Sept./Oct.
- Umpires will be used
- 8 games with
regular season rules in effect
- You must provide your child with his/her
own glove along with a pair of gray (or team choice) baseball pants and
transportation to and from all games.
- The players do their own pitching
and work on fundamentals.
- Hats ONLY
Junior For youth
12, 13, 14 years of age.

You must provide your child with his/her own glove and gray (or
team choice) baseball pants and transportation to and from all games.
- Uses the conventional 90-foot base paths with a
pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches.

Open draft within charter boundaries.

Two games a week are scheduled in the months of May and June. *Subject to number of
teams will determine placement in Red or White division for District
travel (not outside of Monroe County) minimum 12 game schedule

Local & District Tournaments are in July with World Series played in August
at Taylor MI.

in another baseball program

Junior
Fall Ball Training For youth

Senior Fall Ball Training For youth
13, 14,15 years of age
Big For 15 to 18 years of age.

This is a travel division to other surrounding towns with a minimum 12
game schedule

Games start the end of June and run to the end of July.

They play Tuesday/Thursday evening
with a doubleheader on Saturday.
Challenger
-
For the physically and mentally challenged children ages 8-18.
-
Our "Guardian Angels" (volunteer
helpers) assist these players to
"Play Ball". They assist the players by - pushing them in their
wheelchairs or pick up the ball so that the player can throw the ball - it
is a very rewarding program for all of those involved.
- Games are played at our Greece Little League Complex on Saturday
mornings in the months of June and July with a Saturday
game at Frontier Field.
