July 20, 2010
Dear Greece Little League Families:
We are once again having a Greece Little League night at Frontier Field on Friday, August 6, 2010. The Red Wings play the Syracuse Chiefs, farm club of the Washington Nationals . Let’s try to make it eight years in a row to receive the Rochester Red Wings Future Stars Award Largest Little League Group.
All of our players and managers will be going down on the field (everyone will be in uniform). The Red Wings will announce the team name as we march onto the field before the game. We will meet near the grounds area (inside the stadium, right field side when they make the announcement). The gates open at 6:00 pm. Please stress to the parents to leave their child with you and let them know where they (the parents) will be seated upon the child's return from the field.
Tickets will be $6.50 per person (adult or child) for reserved seating. Children age 3 and under that do not require a seat are free. Help make this annual Frontier Field outing another success. Tickets can be picked up at the complex concession stand from Diane Noga or Anne Edwards beginning July 22nd from opening to closing of the concession stand (provided there are games scheduled) up to August 5th. We must return any unsold tickets to the Red Wings office on the 6th of August. NO CHECKS will be accepted, all tickets must be paid for in cash at the time of pick up. Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis - none will be held. We ask for your cooperation in having only one person from your team come to the concession stand to pick up the team tickets.
We also need your assistance in a couple of areas at the game: Please keep moving quickly on the field; keep the kids in sight and out of the dugouts and off the infield. The Red Wings management will appreciate our courtesy.
This year for our Little League night the Red Wings will feature Skyy Dogs and post-game fireworks presented by ESL Federal Credit Union.
We look forward to seeing you out at Frontier Field.
Diane Noga
PS The Rochester Red Wings give back to the league part of the ticket sale money we take in.
